When clinically indicated, a patient can have ultrasound-guided carpal tunnel release performed on both wrists on the same day. There are several published manuscripts that include outcomes data on patients who had simultaneous bilateral releases.3,6,7,10
Postoperative therapy is typically not required.5

Dr. Wei is notably proficient in advanced procedures, including microsurgical nerve reconstruction, arthroscopic treatment for wrist and elbow disorders, tendon reconstruction and repair, and endoscopic treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome.
