About Dr. Ishu Singh

Darshdeep “Ishu” Singh, DO, MS, is a distinguished orthopedic surgeon with a specialized focus on surgeries of the hands and upper limbs. His journey into medicine began with a childhood curiosity sparked by browsing through his mother’s nursing books. This early interest set Dr. Singh on a path toward a career in medicine, leading to a life-changing rotation with an orthopedic mentor in California during his medical school years. Under the guidance of this mentor, Dr. Singh’s passion and expertise in orthopedic surgery blossomed, paving the way for his future successes.

Following the completion of his fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center – Hamot, Dr. Singh relocated to Delaware, where he continues to make significant strides in patient care. He is committed to aiding patients suffering from severe orthopedic injuries and chronic conditions, guiding them towards enhanced health and a better quality of life. Dr. Singh is renowned for his patient-centered approach, prioritizing active listening and comprehensive communication to ensure patients fully understand their diagnosis and treatment options.

Dr. Singh has established himself as a highly skilled surgeon, adept at performing a variety of hand surgeries, treating conditions such as fractures, tendon injuries, nerve injuries, cancers, growths, and Dupuytren’s disease. Notably, he was the pioneering force behind Delaware’s first ultrasound-guided carpal tunnel release, a minimally invasive procedure celebrated for its smaller incisions and swifter recovery times. Outside of his professional commitments, Dr. Singh delights in fitness, painting, travel, and spending cherished moments with his family.
