Nirav Gupta, DO, FAAOS is a highly respected board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon at Twin Palm Orthopedics. He has been a vital member of the Ocala community since 2006, when he established his practice after completing his extensive orthopedic training. Although born in Providence, RI, Dr. Gupta spent much of his early life in Southern Illinois.
He pursued his undergraduate education at Southern Illinois University and continued his medical journey at the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine. Driven by his passion for orthopedics, Dr. Gupta completed his residency at Michigan State University, Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital. He specialized further with an Upper Extremity fellowship at the University of South Florida, Tampa General Hospital.
Dr. Gupta focuses primarily on fracture repair and upper extremity conditions but is adept at treating a variety of musculoskeletal issues. Committed to offering the best care, he continually updates his knowledge in both operative and non-operative treatments. He is equally dedicated to the advancement of orthopedic knowledge, which he demonstrates through teaching at the University of Central Florida/Ocala Health Orthopedic Residency Program, as well as lecturing nationwide.
Aside from his professional achievements, Dr. Gupta cherishes time with his family and enjoys running, cycling, weightlifting, cooking, and traveling. He is grateful to be a part of the Ocala community, embracing the area’s vibrant life and natural surroundings.
